Like Kaylee (valentines day) Jake will always have an easy time remembering his baptism date, 1/1/11. Since Mike's family all came for Christmas we planned Jake's baptism for right after his birthday. Just after Christmas we took him shopping for a new suit so he would look snazzy for his big day! It was awesome to see my Jakey deciding to get baptized and he was really excited about it too. The other day he told me getting baptized was his favorite thing, "that and church and scouts mom," was how that sentence was finished. I was a little surprised about the church statement. He certainly doesn't act like church is his favorite thing right now, but maybe he really does.
It was a great day, he was all smiles and was very excited to follow in the foot steps of His Savior Jesus Christ and be baptized. He is a good kid who tries to always do what is right and he loves his family very much. And we love him, how could we not!
