a GRAND event
At school the kids had a Grand Event. They got to invite someone "Grand" to have lunch and dessert with them. Kaylee and Jake invited Grandma. She came to their school, had lunch, had pie and then got to go to the book fair! She let them each pick out a book. Jake's choices were, Diary of a Wimpy kid and an all about dinosaur book. Kaylee wanted some silly book on the life of Hanna Montana but I nixed that one so she picked out Happy Birthday Bad Kitty and a pack of highlighters. They are so lucky to have their Grandma close they that they can spend special days like this with her. We love you Grandma!!
