Yaya and Papa got to come and play so we took off to the coast for a couple of days. We went to Long Beach, WA. A very deadbeat town but we found fun things to do none the less. We were lucky to have the presidential suite so we had a hot tub on our balcony...or just a little swimming pool as the kids saw it!
We rented a frustrating movie for Jake, Planet 51. He was getting so frustrated with the aliens cause they kept calling the humans aliens...We probably won't be watching that one again!!
We drove down to Seaside, got salt water taffies and fudge, got fish and chips and braved the rain! We checked out Astoria, to see ONE Goonies site...no not the house this time, just the jail! We did do our usual trip up the Astoria Column to fly our airplanes off!
Over all it was a good week with Papa and Yaya!! Thanks for coming!
