the attitude of gratitude

Sometimes it's the little things in life that make you grateful for the big things...Mike came home from work the other night with a handful of these beautiful tulips. It reminded me to be grateful for my eternal marriage and my relationship with him. Though it's not perfect, I wouldn't give it up for anything. I love him with all my heart, he is the best provider and he works hard without a single complaint (ok VERY minimal complaints, everyone has to vent about work sometimes!!). He loves our kids unconditionally and takes good care of them. He's fun, he's entertaining and the best companion I could ask for!
It also reminded me to be grateful for my kids, even though they drive me crazy sometimes and I yell at them, I could not live without any of them. They are my light, my reason to live, my reason to hold tight to my faith and they make my testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ grow everyday. They NEVER stop amazing me, I look at them and I understand more what the pure love of Christ really is.
I see people lose their loved ones, I see people lose their way in life, I see friends lose their marriages and it really makes me reflect on my own life, the ones I hold closest to my heart, and on my marriage...
And it overwhelms my heart with gratitude!
