so i'm a little tired of being prego this morning so decided to write a little poem for the up coming events...
Twas the week of D-day, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The Clothing was hung in the closet with care,
In hopes that little baby would soon be there.
Spencer was kicked out into his new bed,
To be Jake's new room mate, oh what a dread.
Mom had the car seat washed and the bags all packed,
Removed from baby's room was trains, balls and bats,
it was now pink and green and laced frilly hats.
Soon the baby will make such a clatter,
And we'll spring from the bed to see what's the matter.
Down the stairs and away to the car we will fly,
Tear open the door and yell, OH MY!
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
will give the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
And, what to my wondering eyes shall appear,
something so wonderful and something so dear.
A miniature person, with 10 tiny toes,
10 little fingers, Rosy cheeks and a cute button nose.
More rapid than eagles her coursers they came,
And she grunted, and ground, and cried all the same.
So up to the hospital Grandma's flew,
With their hearts full of love, and kisses too.
And then, in a twinkling, we heard down the way
the prancing and dancing of Spenc, Jake and Kay.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down feel a baby into our hearts with a bound.
She was in her birthday suit, from her head to her foot,
And everything in the right place it was put.
A beautiful smile was on her face,
She looked like an angel who had just found her place!
Her eyes-how they twinkled! Her dimples how merry!
Her cheeks were like roses, Her nose like a cherry!
Her droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the spit up on her chin was as white as the snow.
She had a round face and a little round belly,
That shook when she laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
She was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I smiled when I saw her, in spite of myself!
A bat of her eyes and a twist of her head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
She spoke not a word, but went straight to work,
filling all our hearts, with just one little baby smirk.

BTW, cute poem, you are so talented!
well, if there were ever anyone to find used bedding, clothes, swings etc... it would be you. But i know you probably found it in the dumpster behind the supermarket.. along with a bunch of buckets for your food storage.I never find anything on craigs list or any other hand-me-down site. its very aggrivating! the end!
oh yeah!! and i keep forgetting to send the kids testimonys.. even though they will just draw pictures of toys and blobs of poo or something.
umm, ill try to send them today then. And, ps.... no he argued with the parking guy when he showed him their "tickets" and the parking guy said, "those are just parking passes, and ill take them here at the gate."
to this Colin said, "no these are my tickets, so im gonna need these.."
the guy just smiled and said, "whatever, you can have it back if you really want it."
then Colin felt stupid later as he tried to use his parking pass to get in.
ps.... arent you in labor yet... good hell!
